This product is the Original X-STAGE Base (NST Series) – BASE ONLY.

To create a complete freestanding pole setup, you must purchase a compatible NST Pole Insert separately.

The X-STAGE NST Base cannot be used on its own without an NST Series Pole Insert.

Original X-STAGE Base (NST Series)

The Original X-STAGE is the foundation of freestanding pole performance worldwide. Launched in 2010, it was the first fully portable pole stage to offer both static and spinning modes, setting the global industry standard still used today.

Understanding the NST System (How It Works)

The Original X-STAGE (NST Series) is engineered differently from the newer PST (Pro) system.

NST System Design:

• The base contains a bearing housing

• The spin/static bearings are included in the NST Pole Insert, not in the base

• Static and spinning modes are controlled via the pole insert hardware

Because the bearings are part of the NST pole insert, the base itself does not include spin/static bearings.

This is why:

• The NST base is priced lower than PST

• NST pole inserts are priced higher, as they include the bearing system

Compatibility

Compatible only with:

• NST03 / NST04 X-STAGE Pole Inserts (New Generation bearing units)

Not compatible with:

• PST (Pro) Series components

• X-PERT poles

• X-SPORT poles

NST and PST systems are not interchangeable.

Ceiling Height & Extensions

If your ceiling height is below 3.2 m, you will need an extension to replace the B pole supplied with your NST Pole Insert.

How to calculate extension length:

1. Measure floor-to-ceiling height (in mm)

2. Subtract 1600 mm

3. Choose the closest extension length equal to or less than the remaining measurement

Examples:

• 3000 mm ceiling → 3000 − 1600 = 1400 mm extension

• 2700 mm ceiling → 1100 mm extension

• 2400 mm ceiling → 800 mm extension

You may use either:

• NE Extensions (125 mm – 1000 mm), or

• CX Extensions (dual-lined, 100 mm increments for greater height flexibility)

Important:
A minimum clearance of 150 mm between the top of the pole and the ceiling is required for installation.

Intended Use & Care

• Designed for indoor use

• May be used outdoors temporarily for performances or photoshoots

• Must be cleaned, packed down, and stored indoors after use

• Regular maintenance checks are required to ensure ongoing stability
