Buying a dance pole online without testing it first, can be daunting.
When choosing a supplier ask these questions to make sure your pole will be safe - follow this simple checklist & ensure you know what you're getting:
SAFETY
- Have you seen a video of someone using the pole for advanced moves?
- Does the pole have all the safety features clearly explained?
- Is the pole precision engineered & machined?
- Does your pole have an articulating (wobbly) base, that allows the pole to lock in at the exact angle you need - even if you have uneven floors?
QUALITY
- Is the pole designed by professional certified engineers?
- Has the pole undergone at least 2 years of R&D testing before being released?
- Is the pole used by local & international professionals - have you seen pictures?
- Does the pole protect against damage to your ceiling by using a clear silicon buffer?
VERSATILITY
- Are you able to assemble the pole yourself with no help?
- Is the pole fully adjustable up to 3.5 metres - for different ceiling heights?
- Can you lift & carry the pole and fit it into a small car boot on your own?
- Is the pole spinning and stationary ALL-in-ONE ?
- Can you use your pole on any floor type, especially un-even floors?

The NEW X-POLE 45mm (1.75")
Leading the market once again X-POLE is proud to announce the release of its latest product - The 45mm diameter X-POLE. Ideal for girls learning on skinny 38mm or 42mm poles - the 45mm X-POLE will build your wrist strength, but allow you to transition easily between ALL pole sizes!
Why stick to one size, when you can practise on a 45mm and use both the skinny poles and the wider 50mm international standard size poles?!
Yes... this is an X-POLE with all the key features that put X-Pole at the forefront of pole technology - screw together joints, static and spinning, wide upper support, articulating base etc. - but with one key difference, the pole tube diameter is 45mm. Design specifically for smaller hands and lighter grip the XP045 X-Pole is the ideal size and with it's 2mm thick tube and screw joints it will allow dancers to perform and practice the hardest of moves securely.
Up to now smaller diameter poles were only static but the XP045 features X-Poles unique easy to use "mode" change allowing the XP045 to be converted from Static mode to Spinning in seconds. The same is of the reverse allowing the 45mm X-Pole all the functionality of its larger sister.
Pole diameter is a much talked about subject but one thing is clear and that is, whatever the size, dance poles must be safe and at X-POLE we believe that the XP045 45mm X-Pole has the ideal combination of size, functionality and stability to make it the 1st choice for dancers of all levels. In addition the increase in tube wall thickness to 2mm means that the 45mm X-Pole tubes are very stiff reducing the flex associated with thinner poles.
During testing world wide the top dancers said that the 45mm size allowed them to do tricks with ease that they would think twice about on a 50mm (2") pole, purely because of the extra hand grip they could get with the smaller size.

THE INTERNATIONAL POLE FEDERATION - The International Pole
Federation™ has been established to maintain quality and to set up networks of communication amongst dancers, teachers and schools globally.The Launch on September 21was the first opportunity of its kind - not only to meet some of the best pole dancers from all around the country, but to mix with people from the industry in Australia in a neutral setting. All Australian pole dancing schools were invited, and there were live pole performances all night - all performed on X-POLE.
